DSL Provider to the Rescue

Have you ever waited for an hour for your computer to upload a file?  I know there have been times when I have had to wait several hours to upload a file only to have my computer time out because it took too long and then I had to start all over!  The frustration is beyond what most of us want to endure on even the best of days.  There is an affordable way to access high-speed data transfer at home and in the office.  DSL providers offer options using existing telephone wires for as little as twenty dollars a month.  For this you get to talk on the phone and transfer data at five to fifteen times the normal dial up speed.

Shop around when you are looking for a high-speed data transfer provider.  There are many different options available.  Do not take the first one that calls you and offers you a great startup deal.  While it might sound good at the time, there is every chance that you can find an even better deal out there.  Cable TV and satellite companies also offer high-speed Internet services, but they usually cost more and have expensive installation charges on top of the added cost of equipment.  DSL providers on the other hand utilize existing telephone wires that are already run into the building.  Many also have incentive specials that give you free wireless modems for your computers making it extra convenient to use with laptops.
