When I saw the latest Comcast specials advertising the PowerBoost service for broadband, I knew I had to have it. I was using DSL from my local phone company and was becoming increasingly annoyed at the slow speeds. It used to take me a couple minutes to download a song and now it only takes me 20 seconds. I’ve even started streaming movies online which was something I couldn’t do with my old DSL service. The movies stream fast with no interruption.
If you are looking for a fast and reliable broadband service, keep a lookout for the current Comcast specials. You will also be able to get a great deal on your service like I did. Even if you just like to surf the web and check e-mail, you will be impressed at how much faster it is with broadband. I’m also sharing all of my digital photos with family now that they upload so fast. Now I don’t have to worry about my photos sitting on my camera for ages. I’m so glad I made the switch.

Comcast DSL internet provider announced that they will increase their upstream speeds of their high speed internet subscribers without any additional cost. Uploading speed will increase double the number of their usual 6 Mbps/383 Kbps and 8 Mbps/ 768 Kbps plans. According to Comcast, this upgrade is to for the benefit of their subscribers especially today when interactive application is at its peak. As you may recall, the company announced earlier this year that they will be improving their service. Along with this upgrade is Comcast’s PowerBoost(TM) technology for a faster download speed up to 12 Mbps at no additional cost.
