This is according to the research firm Akamai providing valuable know-how into average download speeds in the world. What’s striking is that, the research also showed the reality that the US still struggles to keep up to speed with countries like South Korea, Japan and some countries in Europe. Well, compared to the land mass of other countries and the US, I guess it is reasonable. In all, the average connection speed across the globe was found to be around 1.5Mb.
